Lake Aa in Bocholt is, according to Wikipedia an artificially created ca 32 ha large lake. This surface is large enough for sailing, surfing and rowing. The DLRG created a swimming pool with a sandy beach for the swimmers.

The expansive meadows are ideal for sunbathing and offer enough space for games, if the meadow is not used for the numerous events among others the triathlon event in June.

The Textile Museum Bocholt can easily reached on foot and of course there are restaurants near by.
