Hettensen
Hettensen is located in the south westerly area of the city district at the border to the county of Göttingen. West of the district you find the Bramburg, the most norhterly located former volcano in Germany. From its peak you have a great view on a clear day right to the Brocken and into the mountain region of Hessen. West of the town begins the landscape protection area "Solling-Vogler" with extensive cycle, hiking and horse riding paths.

Hettensen has about 830 citizens.
