Ca. five kilometres from the city centre in eastern direction village with farm estate, well worth seeing chapel and park housing estate in the village; to the Heber housing estate via the B 64; 188 citizens (status: January 2009).

Around 1007 Hachenhausen was written 'Hachemehusi' and 'Hachemehusen' in 1249.

Anthon Ulrich Burchtorff, the chief bailiff resp Drost , who died on the 15th of October 1736, was responsible of the administration Gandersheim. He was buried in the family cemetery in Hachenhausen, built by himself.
