In cooperation with the water and shipping office Verden, the shipping company 'Flotte Weser' in Nienburg and the market town Langwedel an official shipping pier for passenger ships was created directly at the national 'Weser cycle path' in the Langwedel sea lock canal underneath the canal bridge in Daverden in the spring of 2007. Until autumn 2008 the shipping company with captain Johann Meyer was very busy. Tours were made to and still are from Verden via Langwedel and Achim to Bremen and back.

On offer are barbeque trips, evening trips, special tours and lots more. Bicycles can always be taken aboard of course.
