Community Eisdorf

The village Eisdorf, located at the border to the Harz, has 1.828 inhabitants (effective June 2004) and is the second smallest town of the joint community Bad Grund. Eisdorf has been belonging to Bad Grund since 1972.

Eisdorf was first mentioned in the year 953. In the charter you find unfortunately not the name Eisdorf but Agestorp. The town encountered quite a number of name changes, until finally the name Eisdorf was given to the town.
