In some areas real natural mineral deposits accrued, which could be found in Tietzow directly on the surface. Due to the finds by Bruno Glagow it was first became known that near the place of discovery an old settlement existed in the Luch. Such a continuous settlement, in the centre of the Luch is not typical, as the state museum emphasised. During the Bronze Age amber was exchanged for bronze and gold from the south. At this time amber meant great wealth. The most importance reason for early settlement were probably the extensive finds of the 'burning stones'.
An early half-timbered church would also have been interesting but it was pulled down unfortunately beginning of the seventies when religion was not popular. Today one can only see part of the pretty church tower.
