Bremer Ratskeller

In the cellar vaults of the Bremer Town Hall, erected in the year 1405, which is on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage, guests can enjoy a wine experience and also visit the more than 600-year history. But, the Ratskeller is not one of those cultural monuments, with a museum-like tranquillity, 'history filled into bottles'. Rather, the cellar has been lively developed by each generation. Today, it is still formed by that liberal spirit, with which the Bremer Bürgerschaft, made the 'delicious foundation of their town hall into the town's social centre, to a meeting point for all citizens and visitors, to one of an important centre of cultural life.

These lines of a cultural and social history as well as trading traditions of the town and their politics will come together in a very unique way with a glass of wine. A look into the history and present leads us behind the backdrop of the Bremer Ratskeller. And because wine enjoyment is for us a part of that active art of living, which relates to the world, full of relish. You should, during your foray through the our house, pay also attention to the information about our events under 'current'.
