In Milstrich, a village of the community Oßling, is since 2002 probably the region's oldest wayside shrine again erected after the restoration by the sculptor Uwe Konjen.
The plate depicts a grieving Marina underneath a baldachin. It is speculated the pillar was created around 1520.
Today it is not standing at its original place but near the former mill.

Milstrich is the birthplace of the Sorbs composer Bernhard Schneider, whose birth house can be found at the Forstweg.
It is said that the Sorbs legend Krabat frequented the village pub.
If you travel by bicycle you are able to do a little detour to Milstrich via the section of the KRABAT- cycle trail between Biehla and Schiedel.
Once you are in the area - you should visit the well preserved four-sided farmyards with their typical archways in Schiedel.
