The Buxtehude Museum

The Buxtehude Museum was rebuilt after the great town fire in 1913 and then setup as new place for collections of the museum association.

An old Ackerbürgerhaus (urban middle-class house, which enabled also farming), which had stood in this place, was used as a model. In the years 1989 to 1992 a modern annexe for permanent exhibitions about regional-historical themes and special exhibitions were created.
