The technique, typical at the turn of the century was used: an extrusion press and other raw material processing machines, which were generated by a giant transmission of a steam engine, in addition as the core of the facility a Hoffmannscher circular kiln.

The brickworks Benzin produced until 1990. Then it was put under monumental protection. The facility has been restored since 1995 and a 'producing technical monument' was created where old firing technologies come alive again.
