Old-German style water supply is well worth a visit these days. Especially as the water towers are witnesses of an architecture, which is no longer common today.

Giant as a signpost
If you don't know your way round Elmshorn - never mind! You can't miss the town's bulky water tower. It can be seen well from far away, especially if you are looking for the Jahnstraße.

Nostalgic architecture
Many of these former water towers were pulled down for whatever reason. Luckily, the Elmshorner didn't do that and still have its contemporary witness.
