The building of a village museum started in 1999, in a former croft from 1935.
The entrance as well as the neighbouring stables exhibit old items from household, school interior, bird egg collection, old stone tools from our home country as well as exhibits of the war and post war period.

In a carriage house, agricultural equipment and old trade tools are being exhibited. Threshers, items to clean and mill corn as well as items of the traditional peat cutting.

Reproduction of an old baking oven as well as the restoration of an old half-timbered house wall from the 1780, are witnesses of the past. In the 'Heimatstube' in the old school, historical documents, picture material, maps as well as records from the war and post war period and food ration cards are being kept.
