Excavation in the church, which brought potsherds alight, indicates the turn of an era.
The village church Borgisdorf is in its core a late-Romanesque field-stone building with integrated choir.
The brick west tower is neo-gothic and was built in 1896. The retable stems from the year 1717.

1581 the bell was cast.
The still pure mechanical church tower clock and the organ stem from the year 1897.

The church will can be visited and be opened by the rectory, Family Niendorf (Dorfstraße 32), Family Schulze (Dorfstraße 42) and Family Körner (Dorfstraße 44 and 44a).
