The village church was constructed in the 14th century. Boulders and stones that were collected from the fields during tillage were used as building material.

The late Romanesque flat roofed field-stone building has in its core an drawn-in choir. The upper part got a changed wide tower later.

The church interior was newly furnished in 1969 (among other things silver goblet, brass baptism bowl).

Plaster works at the facade of the patronage box were done at the end of the eighties/nineties of the 20th century.
Further exterior and interior works at the field-stone church followed. The planning and completion was done in the year 2002.
