The Rinderhof Grünewalde

The development, setting up and organisation of the Rinderhof Grünewalde has to be rated as a contribution to the preservation of some endangered cattle breeds. That concerns especially the cattle breeds of Hinterwälder, Pinzgauer and Scottish highland cattle.

The endangered horse breed Schwarzwälder Fuchs (chestnut) can be seen live. In this connection a demonstration of extensive grassland farming and keeping sucking cows combined with 'public relations' is taking place for tourist, schools and other interested nature friends.

On offer are guided tours through the cattle ranch as well as carriage and charabanc trips in the region. The participation in the Brandenburger Landpartie was also very successful. Expansion with a cattle museum is already in the project working phase.
