The Pinge, a cave-in funnel that resulted through the collapse of underground mining rooms has been fenced in for safety reasons.

The biggest Pine cave-in took place in the year 1620. From the beginning of the 20th century to the closure of the mine in 1991 the Pinge was constantly increased through systematic mining of ore body.
A view from a platform into the Pinge is only possible by prior arrangement at the Bergbaumuseum Altenberg.
