This old and pretty heathland church was mentioned for the first time in the year 1244. The next certificate is from 1369 and one can recognise that Undeloh had a parish master ('rector') and the church with that held full parish rights. The church became the centre of a parish with eight villages: Ollsen, Undeloh, Wehlen, Wesel, the farmsteads Meiningen and Thonhof as well as forestry Haimbuch.
The wooden belfry, standing freely next to the nave, holds a larger prayer bell, which stems from the Middle Ages. It was cast in 1490 and another smaller bell in 1508.
In 1974 the 'Christ's'-bell was added.
The wooden crucifix needs a special mention. It stems probably from the 13th-century and is the oldest witness of Christian art in the church circle Winsen. The altar was built 1656/57 and was renovated in 1985.
