RST - Radio Steinfurt
Radio RST is the local radio for the district Steinfurt. It is produced in Rheine. Radio RST went on air on the 21st of September 1991. Editor-in-chief is Andrea Stullich.
Radio RST broadcasts local programmes for eight hours daily, from Mondays to Fridays to: the morning show 'RST in the morning' (6am to 9am), 'RST at midday' (1pm to 3pm) and "RST in the afternoon' (3pm to 6pm). On weekends, Radio RST broadcasts 'RST at the weekend'.
The residual programme and the news at every full hour, are broadcasted by Radio NRW. While the local programme is broadcasted, there are three to five minutes of local news every half hour.
In addition, one can listen with Radio RST during the local programme to local weather and traffic information at every half hour.
The local radio station has 35,1% of listeners in the district Steinfurt daily. Thus, Radio RST is by a clear margin the most popular radio station in the district of Steinfurt and is on place 10 in the ranking among the 45 NRW local radio stations.
Radio RST covers with its frequencies (104,0 MHz and 105,2 MHz) the whole of the district area of Steinfurt.
