"Actually it wasn't that I wanted to become an engine-driver or nothing else", answers Manfred Arndt when questioned whether it was his childhood dream. "I was fascinated by the nose of the breaking urban trains here in Rangsdorf. Well eventually I became a railway employee".

He trained as a Betriebs- und Verkehrseisenbahner and later retrained to become a Lockschlosser.

250 metre of rails, constructed into eight circles is laid in his garden. The 45 millimetre rail trains among them also a copy of the ICE, everything steered digitally are responsible that onlooker and sightseer stop at the garden.
