From the viewing tower 'Reuters Paradiesgartenblick am alten Melkstand' (paradise garden view at the old milk parlour) one has a beautiful view onto the Krakow Lake and surrounding countryside.
It's noteworthy, that cows were milked here until 1969, where one has this beautiful view today.

It is called paradise garden today, because Fritz Reuter, felt like being in paradise in the area between Groß Bäbelin, Serrahn and Krakow am See, after his seven-year detention.
That is the reason, why the 22km long stretch around Krakow Lake, is called 'Reuters Paradies-
gartenweg'.
The path is very suitable for bicycle tours. Numerous bathing places are ideal for a cooling down.

Fritz Reuter, honorary doctor of the University Rostock say of the paradise, in the third chapter of
'The Prehistory of Mecklenburg':
"(...) but Mecklenburg is big, where was the paradise garden situated? Probably there, where it was dry first and where the first people were made, near Groß Bäbelin, Serrahn and Krakow, thus, right in the middle of Mecklenburg....'
