Oberlausitzer Sechsstädtebund- und Handwerksmuseum (Six-Towns-Alliance & Trade Museum)

The founding of the Six-Towns-Alliance in the 14th century, one of the defence and trade unions, helped the region to prosperity, prestige and influence. The towns Bautzen, Görlitz, Kamenz, Löbau, Zittau and Lauban (today Poland) bloomed into distinctive towns.

The exhibitions tell of robber-knights and lords of the castle.

On an exhibition area of ca 650qm you will discover interesting things about the town's history of the 14th to 19th century, about trade and craft's trade of the 18th and 19th century, about geology and Oberlausitzer art as well as toys from grandma's times.

There is also a lot of knowledge to be gained about the history of the Löbauer tower.
