Around 300km long, continuously signposted and thus unique in North Germany! That is the Nordic Walking & Hiking Park, Park Tecklenburger Land. 33 continuously signposted trails with different levels of difficulty and requirements profile offer Nordic Walking & hiking fun for young and old, big or small, for the well-trained sports person or beginners.

The circular trails through the villages of Hopsten, Recke, Mettingen, Westerkappeln, Lotte and Ladbergen have been designed rather flatly and thus offer optimal conditions for Nordic Walking beginners. Short routes along the Dortmund-Ems-Canal in Ladbergen or around the village centre of Hopsten and the variation possibilities 'Three in One' in Recke, Westerkappeln, Lotte and Mettingen - on all trails, the Nordic Walker and hiker will find beautiful forest and meadow paths, pretty views and many places of interest.

Hörstel, Ibbenbüren, Lengerich, Tecklenburg and Lienen challenge Nordic Walker with their routes: Height differences of up to 288 metres on a path length of 17,6 kilometres, mostly forest and gravel paths, breathtaking views speak for themselves. If you like, you can also partake at the Nordic Walking marathon from Riesenbeck to Lienen.

If you rather want a bit more peace, enjoy the landscape and nature.
