Museum Nordenham

The Museum Nordenham tells the unusual and varied history of the town on the left bank of the Unterweser. The visitor is lead through the different development phases in an aesthetic pleasing ambiance: from the primeval settlement over land reclamation through the diking of the Weser island, the founding of the harbour and the swift building of industry in the late 19th century. Tendencies and impacts of the German history are being made comprehensible by examples of local happenings and with original objects.
