At the left Rhine side district Friemersheim you'll find, only a few metres from the nature reserve Rheinaue the teacher's house Friemersheim. The Friemersheim village school also the teacher's residence and thus named teacher's house today, was constructed around 1800. It replaced the old dilapidated school building. From 1861-1903 Friedrich Wilhelm Guillaume taught at this school. Since 1983 the Freundeskreis lebendige Grafschaft e.V. set up the historical Grafschafter Stuben at the teacher's house.
The teacher's house houses a local museum where can get information about living and school culture at grandpa's times.
