LehmbruckMuseum - International Sculpture Centre

The LehmbruckMuseum is situated in the heart of Duisburg and captivates through its international contemporary sculpture collection. Its name giver, the German graphic designer and sculptor Wilhelm Lehmbruck, was born in the present district Meiderich as son of a miner's family. The museum houses numerous of his works and works by other artists.

The exhibition of sculptures is not restricted to the museum's building. A great number of artworks can be admired outdoors in the bordering Kantpark. Thus the Kantpark is often being described as Kunstpark.
