The KZ-memorial place Moringen is one of four regional KZ-memorials in Lower Saxony in private sponsorship. It is a place of historical-political education. On offer are apart from guided tours, lectures, film screenings and contemporary witnesses talks also numerous events, which are realised either on their own or in cooperation with Northeim and Göttingen.
The KZ-memorial Moringen has a permanent exhibition about men's and women's KZ as well as youth-KZ. Visitors also have the option of: a touch-screen station, an extensive library as well as a series of films and video productions about the Moringen concentration camps. Part of the memorial is also an archive, which can be used for studies.
Another work focus of the memorial is the human relation to former camp prisoners contact, for whom and memorial meeting takes place once a year.
