The Kulturring Wahlstedt und Umgebung e. V. was founded on the 28.08.1975. When the curtain was raised at the 17.10.1975 for the first time, for the musical "Romantics" nobody could envisage how successful the "Kleine Theater am Markt" would become. By now the curtain was raised for around 530 different plays at over 700 presentations.

This honourable managed theatre in Wahlstedt is in its form – and because of its events – something special, especially when one knows how little subsidies the theatre receives.

Still, there will a wide variety of theatre plays in the future.
