In the Klein Bünstorfer Heide is a cairn field from the older section of the Bronze Age (1.700-1.000 AD) situated. With 59 preserved graves beneath the forest and heather it is one of the largest gave fields of the Lüneburger Heide.

The Klein Bünstorfer Heide is ideal for hiking and relaxing the whole year round. Carriage trips are also available.

On the way to the heathland one can admire moorland sheep and also a few longhorn cattle.
