The Historical Farmers' Market in Duisburg takes place on the Burgplatz in front of the town hall and Salvator church every year. Th Burgplatz was an important marketplace in the Middle Ages.

In its present form the Historical Farmers' Market took place for the first time in 2008 at the 600-year anniversary of Duisburger weekly markets. Promoter is the FrischeKontor Duisburg GmbH, which organises among other the weekly markets in Duisburg.

Jugglers, knights, story tellers, medieval music, medieval crafts, gastronomy and the farmers' weekly market ensure a unique atmosphere.
