The Hansa-House is situated opposite the Krefeld main railway station.

It was constructed a business house and economy exchange after plans by the architect Carl Moritz in 1916.

Right on time for the 90-year existence of the Hansa-House is shines in new splendour after the reconstruction and redevelopment in 2006. The Caritas invested ca. 9 mio. Euro to redevelop the venerable Hansa-House into a modern office and residential building. Today it houses apart from the Caritas branch, administration and schooling rooms, shops and a home for the elderly.
