Discover in the historic cotton storage, 120 years of Bremen port history: Everything about the development from an international port to Überseestadt can be experienced.

Contemporary witnesses report in interviews about the work in the port and on sea, selected objects makes the change of time transparent. You can even lend a hand: smelling and feeling product sample products, hoisting sacks, load ships, tying knots, doing morse code and striking the bell.

An accessible floor model invites you to explore the port area and shows the development of the Bremen port economy till today.

The connected information centre Überseestadt takes you into the future and explains the plans for the new city district.
