Bad Segeberg has a tradition as a health resort. The holiday magazine 'Holiday land Bad Segeberg' reports: 'Since 1884, sick persons find here pain relief and strengthening of their health. In 1924, the town received the title 'Bad' (bath). Thus, Segeberg became the present Bad Segeberg.'
