Apollonia chapel in Langerwehe

On the Ulhaus in Langerwehe stands the small Apollonia chapel. It was constructed from rubble stones at the beginning of the 18th-century. The holy Appolonia is the second parish patron of the parish community Langerwehe and is also depicted in a side leaded window. At the end of 1944 during the war the chapel suffered heavy damage. In the years 1956-57 the rebuilding started. In 1959, when the new Apollonia window was put in the rebuilding was completed. The Apollonia chapel was once again redeveloped and repaired thanks to donations in 2002.
