From the starting point Vogelsang you are able to make wonderful hikes in the national park. Vogelsang is especially suitable as a starting and finishing point for walks. Very recommendable is the Wollseifen route as a circular walk with a length of 6,5 km to the Eifel village Wollseifen, which is no longer inhabited. If you like to walk, you can walk directly after Einruhr over the Urft-dam wall.

Built in 1934, Vogelsang Castle is an educational facility for the party leaders of the NSDAP. Vogelsang is situated amidst the national park and served after the 2nd World War as a drill ground for the British temporarily. Later, it was taken over by the Belgians. Today, you can visit the castle as a welcomed guest.
