Summer holiday workshop at TAKE OFF

- In five hours to a premiere

"The theatre is the most blessed hiding place for all, who put their childhood secretly into their pockets. They went out and about in order to keep on playing until their lives end." said Max Reinhardt, whose actual name was Max Goldmann, when he was an Austrian regisseur, a theatre manager and an actor. At TAKE OFF every pupil may reveal their hidden ideas and play, play, play! As the school also offers drama lessons for children and adults, we now offer as a "premiere" during the summer holidays, a workshop for all participants from 9 to 99 years of age!! We will pursue and seek for commonalities of all participants and will tip over prejudices. And as a premiere is not sufficient for us, we will build with impro- and ensemble plays a small collage, which we present to our parents and children at the end.

From the acting drama to radio drama...

What is the difference?

The radio drama is closely connected with theatre and film, yet is does not know a stage or set and the "listener" is not a "spectator". How does a radio drama still creates space perceptions, although the listener actually cannot see what happens and only notices actions with his ear? Where is the fantasy of the listener challenged to grasp the space perception in order to understand the action? How does the moderator creates the scenes, when he just has his voice? What are the differences available for the speaker of such plays?

This workshop will demonstrate how is works in reality. We will jointly produce a radio drama, work on emotions and articulation and the result will be sent to your home inj a few days.
