The museum Langes Tannen is situated at the outskirts of Uetersen.

Grand country estate

In a generous designed park with roses and lawns the visitor can enjoy the estate of the brothers Lange. The individual buildings, all bequeathed to the town of Uetersen, stand casually scattered in the area. They are open as museum to the public since 1985.

Wealth from the second last century

In the neo-classical manor (built 1806) are furniture, silver, household effects and textiles from the family estate exhibited. The collection encompasses several epochs. Town historical themes are presented on the first floor.

Old barn, old mill

In this restored half-timbered building public special exhibitions, readings and concerts are being hosted. The building was built in 1762. In the back of the park one can still recognise the basic form of the old mill, which has been turned into a café.
