The Heimatmuseum Hüllhorst is located in a former school. The museum - founded in the year 1910 - presents in three sections everyday culture of the Hüllhorst population in the 19th-century, as well as from other villages. The fourth sections contain the history of the community Hüllhorst, depicted through texts and display charts. In the beginning of 2004, the entrance area was newly designed; here, extensive archaeological collections of the museum's stocks are being presented there as well as the results of the archaeological excavation carried out in the village Büttendorf in the year 1999.
